The Grand Marshall

Adriana Gonzalez, President/CEO

La Cámara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston

We are honored to have Adriana González as the Grand Marshall of the 10th annual Festival and Family Power Walk. Adriana González is the current President/CEO of La Cámara de Empresarios Latinos, a non-profit organization focused on education and the growth of Hispanic businesses. While her experience is in the hotel and restaurant industry, it is her passion to be an entrepreneur and help others become independent entrepreneurs.

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, she moved to the United States in May 1980 and since then, together with her husband Mario González, has lived in Spring, TX. Their son, Martin González, graduated from John Brown University in International Business. In 2000, Adriana and her husband started a traffic control business, One Way Striping and Signs, LLC.

We are grateful to Adriana for her support of Community Family Centers and for her efforts to make this year's event a huge success.

Call for Volunteers

Event Volunteers Needed

Several volunteer opportunities are available.  If you or your group would like to help, please contact Lucy Gonzalez at 713-923-2316 or lgonzalez@communityfamilycenters.org.

We don’t work in the non-profit sector.

We work in the for-change sector! – Unknown

We are working to change our community, to change lives and to make a difference but we need your help to complete this mission. I am calling on you to tell your friends and neighbors about the upcoming 10th annual Festival and Family Power Walk on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  Invite your family and your co-workers to join us for a fun-filled day which will begin at 9:00 a.m. with our 5K Walk and continue until 3:00 p.m. with a Festival for the entire family.

If you are a business owner who would like to sponsor our event, host a vendor table or provide an item for our auction, please contact us.  If you are an individual who likes to compete in 5k Walks or simply someone looking to take a brief stroll with their family for a worthy cause, please register online for our Walk.  If you're not interested in walking but enjoy family events, plan to join us for musical entertainment, food trucks, a children's art show, Bingo, a raffle and so much more.

I once again extend a heartfelt invitation to you and your family to join me for the 10th annual Festival and Family Power Walk on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  Our Grand Marshal this year is Adriana Gonzalez, President/CEO of  Cámara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston (CELH) It's an event you won't want to miss and it wouldn't be possible (or nearly as much fun) without your participation and support. Nos vemos pronto!

Appreciatively,
